Blame it on Booksale, National Bookstore's "Booksak Presyo," Fully Booked's sale at the Philippine Book Fair, and A Different Bookstore, I now have books to last me the remaining parts of the year.
To be exact, it's 14 books, all bought within the last month.
The quantity of books is not the only issue here. My pattern is to first start reading a book, then get excited about a different (and newly bought!) book, and so not finish the book I started with.
If there's a thing such as Bookaholics Anonymous, I'd be in it.
But the truth is I'm ok. I mean it's not bad to buy books, right? They're educational. They're like reliving life from a different point of view. And there's nothing wrong with not finishing a book. Everyone does that.
Ok, I'm in denial. Hahahaha.
Note: Of all the 14 books bought, I'm most excited about Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel (by Sussana Clarke) and the three books from A Song of Fire and Ice (by George RR Martin).
